As a senior woman, I found Dutchies Motel Nelson Bay & Dutchmans Beach Apartments to be a delightful place to stay. The decoration of the hotel was charming and had a lovely vintage touch, reminiscent of the good old days. The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for me to move around with ease. I particularly appreciated the accessible layout of the hotel, with no stairs to climb and everything conveniently located on the ground floor. It made my stay comfortable and convenient.

If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have handrails installed in certain areas. This would provide extra support and stability, especially for those of us who may have difficulty with balance or mobility.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The furniture and decorations were tasteful and reminded me of a quaint seaside cottage. The common areas were also very well maintained and accessible for senior people like myself. The hotel had ramps and elevators, making it easy for me to navigate with my mobility aids. It was wonderful to see that they have taken into consideration the needs of older guests.

I would have appreciated if the children working there had provided more assistance with carrying luggage up to the rooms. It would have been a great help, especially for senior people who may have difficulty with heavy bags.

The location was so sick, right next to the beach and we had mad views of the water from our room. The place was clean and cozy, perfect for our weekend getaway with the squad. The staff were super helpful too, hooking us up with a late check-in. Can't wait to go back!

Spent a wonderful Christmas holiday at a motel that had a spectacular beach view. The rooms were beyond satisfactory, with comfortable and clean accommodations. They also provided all the amenities necessary for a quick stay, which was a bonus. The motel was located at an ideal distance from all of the local hotspots, making it easy to explore at our leisure.

Although there were no significant drawbacks to the stay, we would have appreciated a more accommodating shower and proper air conditioning in the rooms. On hot days, the air felt stuffy and needed to be circulated more often.
